MPO Bus Tour

The annual Sioux Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Bus Tour was held on Wednesday, May 15th. This year, members of the Citizens Advisory Committee, Technical Advisory Committee, Urbanized Development Commission, MPO staff and officials from the South Dakota Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration boarded a Sioux Area Metro bus for an impressive tour of the recent improvements to the Sioux Falls Regional Airport. Improvements to the airport include improved and expanded parking lots, a new ticketing wing and in-line baggage screening, new and expanded lobby and concourse restaurants, art displays, new gates and expanded seating, a new business lounge, and a new children’s play area. The Sioux Falls MPO thanks Dan Letellier and the Sioux Falls Regional Airport for hosting the 2013 tour!
