Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
The following schedule outlines opportunities for public participation in the development of the 2024-2027 TIP:
- June 27, 2023, 3:00 pm: SDDOT presenting the Tentative 2024-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for the SECOG region (Clay, Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha, Turner, and Union counties) at SECOG, 500 N Western Ave, Sioux Falls and via Microsoft Teams video conference
- July 5, 2023: First draft of the 2024-2027 TIP posted
- July 12-13, 2023, Presentation of the first draft 2024-2027 TIP to the MPO Committees at the committees' open public meetings
- July 14-28, 2023: 14-day comment period for the first draft of the 2024-2027 TIP
- July 12, 2023, 7:00 pm, Sullivan Health Science Center, 2300 N. Career Ave, Sioux Falls: Public meeting for the 2024-2027 STIP hosted by SDDOT [SDDOT will also provide a virtual option to participate]
- August 1, 2023: Final draft of the 2024-2027 TIP posted
- August 9-10, 2023: Presentation of the final draft 2024-2027 TIP to the MPO Committees at the committees' open public meetings
- August 24, 2023: SD Transportation Commission's consideration and approval of the 2024-2027 STIP, Sioux Falls MPO TIP, Rapid City MPO TIP, and Transit Improvement Program
